Hookers Fly Shop and Guide Service offers trips year round to wild and stocked streams for both trout and smallmouth bass.  If you are looking for big fish as well as high catch rates the Tuckasegee River Delayed Harvest is by far one of the best streams in the Southeast.  Book a wade or float trip here between the beginning of October through early June for the best fishing.  Outside of the that timeframe we concentrate on other section of the Tuckasegee for trout and smallmouth.  The smallmouth bass action on the Tuckasegee is usually best between April and early November.
