We also offer guided float trips and wade trips to other areas outside of the Smokies.  Just over an hours drive from Gatlinburg is one of the best tailwater rivers in the Southeast.  The Tuckasegee River offers fantastic fishing throughout the entire year.  We offer both wade and float trips on many sections of this river.  Between Oct. and early June you can book a wade or float along the Tuckasegee Delayed Harvest Section.  This section of river receives close to 50,000 trout per year and is a great area to catch the Grand Slam, (Rainbow, Brook and Brown).  The Tuckasegee is also a great smallmouth river between April and early November.

Another fantastic area just a short drive from Gatlinburg is the Cherokee Reservation.  The Cherokees stock over 30 miles of stream weekly and have one of the best trophy water sections in the area.  The 2.2 mile stretch of trophy waters is stocked with Donaldson Trout, Rainbow, Brook and  Palomino Trout.  We have had clients catch close to 30″ fish in these waters.  A day on this section of water is hard to beat.
