Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the trip today.
Chris is a fine young man who did a great job showing me how to fish for trout in these creeks.
I would never have thought we could catch that many or that size fish in such a small area.
I hear you had a little car trouble… better stop parking near those hostile power poles.
Thanks again, I hope to get back for another trip in late August.

Tuckasegee Float Trip
From guided float trip in May 2015. I would like to thank Jason for a Great float trip on the Tuck last Friday. My son Gray, who is a student at WCU set up the trip as a Birthday present, he couldn’t have done better. Jason is a really great guide, patient, knowledgeable, and easy going. He was a pleasure to fish with. We are thinking of doing another trip also bringing my older son and wife either late summer or fall. Please let Jason know that he is appreciated.

We have been dealing with Hookers Fly shop for several years. Each time I go out on a fishing trip with Jason, he never ceases to amaze me. He knows the area well and we always catch fish wherever it may be. I have done several wade trips and floats as well. Jason is a great teacher and if you know nothing about fly fishing and would like to learn, he will teach you along the way. The shop is very nice, not pricy like some around, but there is everything that you would need to learn the art of fly fishing. He will even take pictures of your trip and make sure that you have that special moment on film….even if the fish decides to slide out of your hand! I highly recommend Hookers Fly Shop in Sylva for everything fly fishing and then some……ladies, my wife has even bought several purses in the shop. She loves them!
